About Dragon Garden
Dragon Garden is one of the chinese restaurants listed in New Rochelle, New York. The business is registered at 150 North Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10801; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in New Rochelle; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–10 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (914) 633-5341. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is smorefood.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 118 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
New Rochelle is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New Rochelle peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Delivery was the time it stated , food was good. Was impressed with how much food we got for the family meal. Fed four and there was left over.

First time here wasnt happy at all. I told him I wanted honey chicken with no bones. He gave me the chicken wings instead. It was for my daughter she can't have anything with bones in because she's been having tooth problems . Won't be back here

Heard this is the best Chinese spot in New Rochelle, so I gave it a try. Ordered the General Tso’s & boneless ribs lunch special & both were really good. Only downside: the General Tso’s had no spice at all, which was disappointing. They’re generous with extra sauce packets, which I appreciate. I’d order again

I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein combination platter based on the description on the restaurant’s own website, which clearly states: “stir-fried noodles, chicken, and vegetables.” Naturally, I expected a dish with actual noodles. When I called to order, the person on the phone told me it would be vegetables with no noodles, which confused me since the website literally says “stir-fried noodles.” After I questioned it, he said he would “put the noodles on the side,” so I assumed that meant regular noodles. When I got home, the dish was just pale chicken and vegetables with crunchy chips on the side. Apparently those chips are what they call “fried noodles.” Instead of acknowledging the confusion, they kept insisting the crispy chips were the “noodles,” which honestly felt like they were gaslighting me and trying to make it seem like I misunderstood…even though their own website says the dish includes stir-fried noodles. What’s even more frustrating is that they mentioned noodles to me multiple times during the call, which clearly shows they know customers expect actual noodles. If that’s the case, the website description should not say “stir-fried noodles.” A simple explanation o

I would have given 5 stars because most of the food is very good. Another place with weird fried rice, abnormally yellow. What happened to the wonderful way people used to make fried rice with such rich taste and eggs. This is so bland. It should look like the color of the photo....but it doesn't. No one wants to take the time.
